Got takeout a few weeks back and was not disappointed! Ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and only complaint is I could have used more meat. But the ratio of veggies to noodles was on point - generous portion too for the price we paid. Would definitely order again, especially in a pinch, because the service was QUICK, takeout was ready like 15 min after we ordered.

I ate here back in 2001 before a Georgetown basketball game. I had diarrhea so bad later during the game that I still remember it 23 years later. HOWEVER, it tasted so good going down that I still gave it four stars! No regrets!!

I have never left here disappointed or hungry. The service as usual was quick and courteous. The food was well prepared and properly seasoned. The atmosphere is old school Chinese.

Excellent food and probably the most historic Chinese restaurant in Washington DC. The real draw of this place is the ambience and the interior. It's a historic building in a historic location, and from what I understand it is the oldest Chinese restaurant in the small Chinatown that Washington DC actually has. The customer service was very friendly and the food was excellent. It's a little bit pricey but definitely worth a visit. It is not actually a Mongolian restaurant, although there are a couple of Authentic Mongolian dishes on the menu. The interior and ambience inside is stunning and brings you back to the past. I'm surprised that it has Mongolian in the name, but it's not really a Mongolian restaurant, and there are from what I understand a Mongolian community in Washington DC

The food was surprisingly good. After entering this place I was nervous, doesn't look like it's been updated in 20 years. But the food was on point. I went with a large group and we got a little bit of everything, all good, for a reasonable price. Downside: no elevator and steep stairs. I don't know how this place passes code. I hate paying for a can of coke, that's always a negative for me.

A Chinatown staple. Classic american-chinese spot. Walls lined with famous people shaking hands with the owner. Most or all entrees are great, a personal standout favorite is the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Very happy this place survived covid and hope it continues to thrive while business is down in Chinatown.
